Set the mood right at any time with our flavourful Grain Field Chickens Skewers! The #TasteOfGFC has never been better.
Ingredients:
● 500g Grain Field Chicken (boneless, skinless thighs or breasts)
● 2 tbsp olive oil
● 1 tbsp lemon juice
● 1 tbsp lemon zest
● 1 tsp garlic powder
● 1 tsp dried oregano
● 1 tsp dried thyme
● Salt and pepper to taste
● Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
● Fresh parsley for garnish
● Tzatziki or sriracha mayo for dipping (optional)
Method:
1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
2. Cut the Grain Field Chicken into bite-sized cubes and toss them in the marinade. Let them marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour for extra flavour.
3. Thread the marinated chicken onto the wooden skewers.
4. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
5. Grill the chicken skewers for 4-5 minutes on each side until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 75°C).
6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favourite dipping sauce, like tzatziki or sriracha mayo.
