By entering this competition, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
The promoter is Grain Field Chicken (Pty) Ltd, referred to as “GFC”, with its registered office at 31 President CR Swart Street, Reitz, 9810.
Employees of GFC, its affiliated companies, subsidiaries, agencies, suppliers, service providers or anyone else connected in any way with this competition or helping to set up this competition shall not be permitted to enter.
This competition is open to participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa and who are over the age of 18 years.
The competition commences on 8 July 2026 and closes on 31 July 2026 at 23:59:59. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
To enter the competition, participants must complete the following steps: a. Follow the Grain Field Chickens Facebook and/or Instagram page. b. Like the relevant competition post. c. Share their best #GrainFieldChickens chicken potjie recipe, tip, secret ingredient, spice blend or cooking method in the comments section of the competition post.
Participants with a valid entry stand a chance to win 1 (one) of 3 (three) potjie pots.
3 (three) competition winners will be selected from all qualifying participants through a judging process.
The competition winner will be notified via Facebook and/or Instagram direct message. The same platform may be used for prize redemption and any further communication relating to the competition.
The winner will be required to present a valid South African identity document to qualify..
The competition winner must confirm acceptance of their prize within 24 hours of being notified. Should the winner fail to respond or redeem the prize within this period, GFC reserves the right to select another winner.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
GFC reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend this competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of GFC’s control. Any changes to this competition will be notified on the GFC website athttps://www.grainfieldchickens.co.za/.
GFC is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant indicates his or her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
Any Meta user, including Facebook and Instagram users, who only interacts with brands to enter competitions or who enters competitions daily or weekly may be excluded.
Any Meta user, including Facebook and Instagram users, who has entered three or more competitions per month may be excluded.
Any Meta user, including Facebook and Instagram users, who is part of a competition syndicate may be excluded.
Any Meta user, including Facebook and Instagram users, who has won any VKB competition in the last 365 days may be excluded.
Competition winners and participants agree to the use of their names, images, photographs, comments, recipes, tip or entry content in any of GFC’s publicity material. Any personal data relating to a winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta, Facebook or Instagram. By entering, participants release Meta, Facebook and Instagram from any responsibility or liability arising from the competition.
“We” and “Us” in the context of this disclaimer and limitation of liability include GFC and all its affiliated companies and subsidiaries. We shall not be held liable for any errors, breaks in service, server failure or downtime, failure in network, technology or other support infrastructure required for the issuance and/or redemption of any social media platform entry or prize, or any error, duplication or issue in relation to the submission of a recipe, tip, secret ingredient or comment, or any problems that may arise and/or any claim relating to the winner’s receipt of the prize.
You hereby indemnify GFC and all its affiliated companies and subsidiaries from any loss, damages, liability, claim or demand due to or arising out of your use of our product, participation in this competition and/or any breach by you of these terms and conditions.
